Gehrlicher connects 35 MW solar park to the German grid

31.08.2012: German project developer Gehrlicher Solar AG has energized a 35 MW solar park on the grounds of the former Perleberg military airfield in Brandenburg, in eastern Germany. Due to the solar park’s high capacity, the company also built a separate expandable 110 kV transformer station, which served to connect the solar park to the grid on August 23. Construction of the solar park took just two and a half months to complete.
