Before adding sales headcount

Hello Montgomery,

Looking at adding sales headcount?

For most industrial suppliers, that means months of hiring, training, and ramp time before they're producing.

At Factur, we run that function for you, generating conversations and bringing them to the point where your team can step in at quoting. Most clients start seeing traction in the first couple of months. It ends up being a lower-risk way to add coverage without putting another full-time salary on the books.

Is that something worth exploring?

Build-to-print sheet metal

Hi Montgomery,

Quick note to introduce our team.

At Sierra Peaks, sheet metal fabrication is our core, with capabilities in sheet metal parts, weldments, and assemblies to help keep builds on schedule.

We support OEM and tier one programs out of Albuquerque, NM and San Diego, CA, and we also offer in-house support for machining, cables and harnesses, electromechanical assembly, and engineering when it helps consolidate suppliers.

Would you be open to a 15-minute Zoom next Thursday at 9am?

Respectfully,

Re: Turnkey Fab with The Bionic Welder

Hi Montgomery,

Totally get that things get busy.

If there’s anything you’re having trouble getting quoted—or if your current shop is backed up—we’d be glad to take a look.

Want me to send over a few examples of the kind of parts we run?

Worth revisiting later?

Hi Montgomery,

I’ve reached out a few times, so I’ll leave this here for now.

The reason I reached out is because a lot of manufacturing companies are strong operators, but the revenue side is still too dependent on referrals, repeat customers, timing, or individual relationships.

Factur helps build more structure around that side of the business. We help manufacturers identify better-fit accounts, create qualified conversations, improve how they show up online, and make the front end of the revenue process more consistent.

If that is something you want to improve, I’d be glad to talk. If not, no worries.

Should I circle back another time?

The harder half of profit

Hey Montgomery,

Every business owner lives with the same basic equation. Profit comes down to two things: revenue and cost.

Most manufacturing companies are pretty good at managing costs. They know their labor, materials, equipment, overhead, and margins.

Revenue is usually less controlled. It typically comes from repeat customers, referrals, reps, relationships, and timing. Some of that works, but a lot of it is reactive.

That’s where we help.

Factur helps manufacturers find ideal-fit accounts, reach the right decision-makers, and create qualified conversations. We also strengthen brand presence with high-performing websites, sharper positioning, and digital strategies that turn interest into opportunities.

Would you be open to hearing how this could work?

Get more of the right conversations

Hey Montgomery,

We built a system that helps industrial suppliers find and reach the types of companies they want more of.

A big part of that is knowing who to reach. We look at your ideal customer profile, identify better-fit companies, and find the right decision-makers inside those accounts.

After a quick conversation to understand who you’re trying to reach, we can provide 1,000 sample contacts so you can see what that audience could look like.

Factur uses this same process to help industries create qualified conversations with better-fit accounts.

Open to talking through who you’re trying to reach?

CNC machining and tooling support

Hi Montgomery,

Evansville Tool and Die supports manufacturers with CNC machining, job shop machining, tool and die work, progressive dies, blank dies, form dies, thermoform molds, jigs, fixtures, machine details, die components, repair, reverse engineering, and production part turning.

Our team is often a fit when purchasing or sourcing teams need a capable manufacturing partner for machining overflow, tooling support, die work, thermoformed plastic tooling, or production component needs.

If your team is evaluating machining partners, would it be worth a brief conversation with you and your engineering team?

Aerospace and Defence Engineering Machining

Hey Montgomery,

Are lead-time or quality challenges affecting your program timelines?

V&G is a machining-led manufacturer with an AS9100 and ISO 9001–certified, ITAR-registered, and CMMC-aligned operation. Our capabilities center on tight-tolerance CNC machining, with integrated welding, inspection, and assembly to support high-complexity aerospace and defense work from low-quantity builds through repeat production.

Are there a current program where additional machining capacity could be helpful?

If that's the scenario - would you be able to point me towards the appropriate contact at Denrgy?

Streamlining CNC production for critical parts

Hi Montgomery,

Sharing a quick note about machining support.

When projects involve complex geometries or material challenges, we often step in to help teams stabilize production. Our engineers focus on finding the right machining path for performance-critical components — especially where accuracy, finish, and schedule are equally important.

We’ve worked on precision assemblies for oil and gas and energy OEMs across Houston, maintaining quality control that meets ISO 9001 standards.

If someone else manages machining suppliers, could you point me in their direction?

Re: When revenue gets reactive

Hi Montgomery,

Part of why I care about this is because I learned it the hard way.

Before Factur, I lost a manufacturing business. There were a lot of lessons in that, but one of the biggest was that being good at the work is not enough if you don’t have control of where revenue comes from.

A lot of manufacturers are fantastic operators. They know how to deliver, solve problems, and take care of customers, but the front end of the business is often underbuilt.

That is the gap Factur was built to help solve.

If that resonates, I’d be glad to chat.

Re: Fast Turnaround Small-Batch Metal Components

Hello Montgomery,

I know timing isn’t always ideal, and things can get busy.

I wanted to follow up in case longer lead times, inconsistencies, or capacity gaps are starting to slow things down on your end.

We work with teams that need reliable support across precision fabrication, machining, certified welding, heat treating, finishing, and inspection—especially when shorter turnarounds make the difference between meeting deadlines and delays.

If this isn’t something you handle directly, would you be open to pointing me to the right person on your team? And if it is, is there anything in your pipeline that’s been challenging to keep moving lately?

P.S. If this doesn’t apply to your role, would you mind connecting me with the right contact?
