Scatec Solar sees revenue and profits increase in Q4 2015

1.02.2016: Norwegian solar company Scatec Solar ASA recorded a significant increase in revenue and profits in the fourth quarter of 2015. The company achieved revenue of 267 million NOK ($30.7 million) for the period, up from 204 million NOK in the previous quarter and 194 million NOK in the fourth quarter of 2014. Ebit for the period was 163 million NOK, up from 94 million NOK a year earlier. Furthermore, the company was able to swing from a loss of 11 million NOK in the fourth quarter of 2014 to a profit of 26 million NOK in the same period of last year. Power production totaled 151 GW in the quarter, up 33% year on year. Scatec Solar’s power production comes from the Kalkbult (75 MW), Linde (40 MW), and Dreunberg (75 MW) plants in South Africa, the ASYV (9 MW) plant in Rwanda, four plants in the Czech Republic (20 MW), the Agua Fria project (60 MW) in Honduras and the Utah Red Hills (104 MW) in the US, which was connected to the grid in the fourth quarter of 2015. © PHOTON
