PSEG acquires 25.9 MW solar park in North Carolina
3.02.2016: PSE&G’s subsidiary PSEG Solar Source has acquired the 25.9 MW PSEG Meadows Solar Energy Center PV plant from California-based solar company Ecoplexus Inc. PSEG invested $40 million in the transaction. The installation has a 15-year PPA with local utility Virginia Electric and Power Company, a subsidiary of Dominion Resources. The plant relies on 152,000 CIS solar panels provided by Japanese thin-film module maker Solar Frontier The acquisition increases PSEG Solar’s PV plant portfolio to 241 MW (DC). © PHOTON
