Average price of multicrystalline modules hits new low

04.05.2012: According to PHOTON's module price index, the average price of multicrystalline modules on the German spot market has hit a new low after falling nearly 45 percent in the last year. The average price of multicrystalline modules now stands at €0.69 ($0.91) per watt. The average price for monocrystalline modules also declined last week after a brief upswing at the end of April. At €0.72 per watt ($ 0.95), the average price of monocrystalline modules is at its lowest point since late December. The entire module price index, as well as indexes for other regions, cell technologies and inverters, are published on a regular basis in PHOTON International.
