Module prices drop again after brief rally

25.05.2012: Module prices on the German spot market dropped again last week after a brief upswing in the previous weeks. According to PHOTON’s module price index, the average price of multicrystalline modules fell nearly 7 percent to 69 euro cents (85¢) per Watt. The average price of Asian modules also fell below 70 euro cents, dropping to 68 euro cents (87¢) per Watt. Meanwhile, the average price of monocrystalline modules declined by 5 percent to 76 euro cents (96¢) per Watt. The entire module price index, as well as indexes for other regions, cell technologies and inverters, are published on a regular basis in PHOTON International.
