Module prices hover around €0.80 per watt

16.03.2012: According to the PHOTON price index, module prices on the German spot market remained stable last week. Multicrystalline modules remained at an average price of €0.82 ($1.07) per watt. Monocrystalline modules were up 1.3 percent at €0.81, while the average price of modules from Asia increased 2.7 percent to €0.77 per watt. In the last year, average module prices in these three categories have dropped more than 40 percent. The entire module price index, as well as indexes for other regions, cell technologies and inverters, is published on a regular basis in PHOTON International magazine.
