Brazil could approve regulations to promote solar installations at the begining of April

02.04.2012: According to the Brazilian newspaper Tribuna do Norte, at the beginning of April, the Brazilian National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) could approve a net-metering regulation for solar installations up to 1 MW and a tax incentive for plants up to 30 MW. A few weeks ago, a representative of Aneel announced that these regulations will be approved soon. Bids for solar plants are also expected this year in Brazil. Local and foreign companies are already planning solar projects.
