11.04.2012: A spokesperson for Q.Cells North America told PHOTON that the North American subsidiaries of troubled German solar cell producer Q-Cells SE have not been affected by Q-Cells’ insolvency and are operating as normal. According to the company, Q.Cells North America and Q.Cells Canada Corp. are currently developing more than 100 MW of projects, all of which are scheduled to be completed in 2012. Q.Cells North America issued the following statement: “The North American subsidiaries are legally separate and economically independent entities from Q-Cells SE...
