05.04.2012: As reported by Bloomberg, the China-based ENN Group (ENNGZ) is planning a $5 billion solar project in Laughlin, Nevada, with the support of US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. According to the article, the plan includes a production plant and a generating facility, to be developed on around 290 km² of land southeast of Las Vegas, which ENNGZ is buying for $4.5 million. The PV plant could reach 700 MW and the whole project should create 2,505 jobs during construction through 2023...
