10.04.2015: Italy-based company Alba Energia is planning the construction of a 420 MW PV plant in the Brazilian state of Piauì, according to a press release published by local government. The company intends to invest 2 billion BRL ($655.8) million in the project. Furthermore, Alba Energia said it intends to submit the project to local authorities in the frame of an auction that will select exclusively solar energy projects. The government has not released more details about the project. © PHOTON
