20.02.2015: Chinese solar manufacturer Trina Solar Limited was the single largest producer of PV modules globally in 2014 based on annual production of 3.5 GW, according to UK-based market research firm GlobalData. The company was able to cover 7.9% of global production and to overtake Yingli Green Energy, which was the market leader in 2013 and 2012. Furthermore, GlobalData reports that global crystalline solar production grew from 33 GW in 2013 to 44 GW last year.
