Trina Solar expands into Canada

12.07.2012: Chinese photovoltaic (PV) products producer Trina Solar Ltd. has signed an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) agreement with solar module producer Silfab Ontario, a subsidiary of Italian PV products manufacturer Silfab SpA. Under the OEM partnership, Silfab will assemble Trina Solar PV modules at its production facility in Mississauga, Ontario. The Trina Solar modules produced at Silfab’s Ontario factory will meet the domestic content requirement mandated by the province’s feed-in-tariff program.
