| 24.07.2015: US solar producer and developer SunPower Corp. has signed a 20-year PPA with Nevada-based utility NV Energy for the construction of a 100 MW PV plant in the Eldorado Valley of Boulder City, Nevada, US. The company expects the PV plant to come online in 2016. SunPower acquired the project from Komico America Inc., the US subsidiary of Korea-based power provider Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. for an undisclosed sum. Sunpower said that 8point3 Energy Partners LP, the yieldco vehicle it recently formed with US solar producer and developer First Solar Inc., could acquire the project.
