21.08.2014: Canadian Solar Solutions Inc., a subsidiary of Chinese-Canadian solar company Canadian Solar Inc., has sold the 10 MW (AC) Good Light PV power plant in Ontario, Canada to a subsidiary of Canadian renewable energy independent power producer BluEarth Renewables Inc. for approximately $60.3 million. The Good Light plant is the second of four solar projects Canadian Solar agreed to sell to BluEarth under a June 2013 agreement. The four power plants, collectively valued at over 225 million CAD ($217.2 million), have a total capacity of 38.5 MW (AC). All four plants are located in Ontario and have 20-year FIT contracts with the Ontario Power Authority. Canadian Solar, which is providing EPC services for the four plants, began construction on the projects in 2013. All four plants are expected to reach commercial operation this year. Canadian Solar did not say when it would deliver the remaining two power plants. The first 8.5 MW (AC) plant was delivered to BluEarth in March.
