Canadian Solar to receive $32.9 million loan for solar power project

Canadian solar has announced that it will be receiving a loan of $32.9 million in short-term construction financing from the National Bank of Canada. The credit will be used to finance construction of one of the Company's solar power projects in Ontario, Canada.

Canadian Solar Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Shawn Qu said the transaction gives the company additional flexibility and will allow it to accelerate its development in Canada and globally.
