27.10.2011: In an interview published in the French daily newspaper Le Monde, the US Secretary of Energy Steven Chu presented his forecasts for the energy sector at a meeting of the International Energy Agency in Paris. Asked whether solar energy will be of importance in the future despite the present turbulence in the sector, Chu stated that the price of the kWh produced from solar energy is likely to drop considerably by 2020.
