President-elect Joe Biden called climate change an "existential threat" and a "crisis," and vowed to work with his team to address it. On Saturday, he also introduced Rep. Deb Haaland (D-N.M.), whom he has chosen to serve as interior secretary. If confirmed, Haaland would be the first Native American Cabinet secretary in the nation's history.
