See this eagle's flight from the top of the world's tallest building to his handler in the city below.
The eagle was fitted with a camera and released from the top of the 2,715 foot Burj Khalifa tower in Dubai. It was given no pre-flight exposure to the speck of land that his handler is standing on.
The raptor locates the marker, recognizes the trainer from all of the other objects, people etc. Then fold his wings into power-dive straight to the trainer's arm. Note the lack of visual shake in the camera on his back throughout.
