Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. (NYSE: STP) supplied solar panels for 20 MW
and 15 MW alternate current (AC) solar power projects in California.
The projects will be built and engineered by Cupertino Electric Inc.'s
Energy Alternatives Division for Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (NYSE: PCG).
They will use more than 150,000 Suntech multicrystalline solar panels.
Construction of both projects began in April 2011.
