Daytime electricity demand in New York City most affected by COVID-19 mitigation actions - U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA)

Very informative charts. Now as we approach easing, we’ll see gradual growth return, reflecting the ramp rates of employment, commerce and migration back to the city.  Think it would be a mistake to think that those that exit the city are not going to be replaced by others. NYC is still going to be a global point of gravity on a very large number of fronts. Plus think of the living hell the roads are going to present from all the displacement from public transit.
