President Trump said Monday that he has asked advisers to identify $200 billion worth of Chinese goods that would face tariffs if China does not bend to U.S. trade demands. Last week, the White House announced it would go forward with $50 billion in tariffs, prompting China to retaliate with a similar levy on U.S. goods. Trump reacted with fury to the response and indicated he will go beyond Monday's $200 billion threat if China retaliates again. "This latest action by China clearly indicates its determination to keep the United States at a permanent and unfair disadvantage," Trump said Monday.
