solar jobs shine in FL

Montgomery,

When 73% of Floridians voted for solar progress last August, lawmakers in both chambers listened.

Earlier this week, the House Commerce Committee unanimously passed Amendment 4 implementation bill HB 1351, moving forward a major opportunity to continue growing solar jobs and economic investments in the Sunshine State. For months, we've worked with House Majority Leader Ray Rodrigues, the solar industry, and other advocates to get it right -- and ensure that the families and businesses wouldn't face arbitrary barriers to choosing solar.

We also made headway as the Senate implementation bill SB 90 soared through the Appropriations Committee. The bill passed Appropriations unanimously thanks to leaders like Senator Jeff Brandes, who remains a stalwart champion of solar progress. We're continuing to work with him to honor the will of the 2 million voters who supported Amendment 4 in August.

Can you join us in thanking Leader Rodrigues and Sen. Brandes for continuing to champion solar progress in Florida?
