Thailand raises 2021 target for solar from 500 to 2,000 MW

01.12.2011: The Thai government approved a revised energy plan that calls for 25 percent of electricity consumed in Thailand to be produced by renewable energy sources by 2021. The Bangkok Post reports that the previous target was 20 percent. Under the new plan, the 2021 target for installed solar capacity has been increased from 500 to 2,000 MW. ...
